Department's ride-along application and waiver. The Dewey Beach Police
Department has a Ride-Along Program. This program enables residents,
property owners, students, members of the press and other law enforcement
personnel the opportunity to observe the Dewey Beach Police from the front
seat of a police cruiser. Persons may apply for a ride-along by submitting
a Consent & Release Agreement. Ride-alongs must be approved by
the Chief of Police or a supervisor. Some restrictions do apply (ie: no criminal
record, no outstanding warrants, etc). Contact the Dewey Beach Police Department
